Soft Life Saturday❣️
Reminder, queen… You do NOT have to hustle yourself into exhaustion to build something meaningful. Some days we sew. Some days we rest. Some days we just breathe and regroup. And all of those days still count. This season for me has looked a little slower while healing… but one thing about me? I’m still showing up. Even softly. So today’s assignment is simple: ✨ Rest without guilt ✨ Create without pressure ✨ Dream without limits Drop ONE thing you’re doing for yourself this weekend 👇🏾 — B. Michele— Because sewing is cheaper than therapy. Wishing you a life filled with hearts💕 butterflies 🦋 and the joy of creating your own kind of beautiful❣️

This weekend I’m just being! It’s Mother’s Day weekend and I’m chilling ❣️🦋❤️
❤️❤️❤️FIT CHECK FRIDAY🦋🦋🦋
Don’t you hate it when your pants or skirts fit perfect on the hip or thigh area, and too big in the waist? MESHE REAL TALK 💬 If your waist is smaller than your hips… that is NOT a flaw. That is called having a shape, suga. ❤️ The goal of sewing isn’t to “fix” your body. The goal is to make the clothes finally fit the queen wearing them. 🦋 HOW TO FIX A GAPPING WAISTBAND (Beginner-Friendly Version) 1. Try Pants On Inside Out Pinch the extra fabric at the CENTER BACK waist until the pants fit comfortably. Usually this is: - 1–3 inches total excess Pin it evenly. 2. Mark the New Seam Line Use: - chalk - washable marker - pins This shows where you’ll sew. 3. Open the Waistband at the Center Back Using a seam ripper: - open a few inches of the waistband - ONLY around the center back seam area This allows the waistband to move and reshape correctly. 4. Sew the Center Back Seam Stitch along your new seam line from the waistband downward. Blend smoothly into the original seam so there’s no weird bump. 5. Try Them On Again Check: - comfort - smooth fit - no pulling - waistband lays flat Adjust if needed. 6. Trim & Press Trim excess bulk if necessary. Press seam open or to one side for a clean finish. 7. Reattach the Waistband Now sew the waistband closed again where you opened it. Topstitch neatly if visible. Boom, the waist fits WITHOUT ruining the hip and thigh fit. 💅🏾 FIT CHECK FRIDAY REAL TALK 💬 This is why sewing is POWERFUL. Ready-to-wear says: “Make your body fit the pants.” Sewing says: “Nah… make the pants fit YOU.” And THAT’S the energy we carrying into Friday❣️ Comment below your biggest fit pain in the but❣️ This is 💯 mine. — B. Michele— Because sewing is cheaper than therapy🧵🪡 ❤️Wishing you a life filled with hearts, butterflies, and the joy of creating your own kind of beautiful.🦋

Intentional Sip n Sew
Heyyy sugaaa 💖 It’s Sip & Sew Sunday… and even though I’m still taking it easy and nursing this concussion, I had to check in on my fabulous crew 🧵✨ Today is not about perfection.Today is about presence. If you’ve got the energy — grab your favorite drink ☕🥤🍷, sit with your fabric, your ideas, or even just your thoughts… and take a moment to set your intention for the week. Not based on what the world says…Not based on what didn’t happen last week… But based on who you already are. Because let me remind you real quick: 👉🏾 You are already fabulous just like you are.👉🏾 Your body is NOT the problem.👉🏾 And every stitch you take is a step toward creating your own kind of beautiful. So ask yourself, suga…What do I want this week to feel like?Calm? Focused? Creative? Bold? Set that intention and move from THERE. And don’t worry — as soon as I’m feeling better, we are absolutely getting together for a real Sip & Sew session so we can laugh, learn, and create together LIVE 🎉🧵 Until then… slow stitches, soft moments, and intentional moves only. — B. Michele 💖 Wishing you a life filled with hearts 💕 butterflies 🦋 and the joy of creating your own kind of beautiful ❣️ Because Sewing is Cheaper Than Therapy ❣️ 🧵 🪡

@Tammy Robinson yeah I hit it pretty hard! Only reason I went to ER. Thanks for your well wishes.
OMG CONCUSSION!!!
Heyyy sugaaa 💕 Quick check-in from your girl—I had a little life moment (okay… a whole fall 😩), and your girl is currently on rest + recovery mode per doctor’s orders. I’m okay, just dealing with a concussion, so I’m limiting screen time and taking it slow for a few days. No worries though—I’m not going anywhere! This right here is a reminder for ALL of us:We don’t just build our lives… we protect them too. I’ll be back in full Bold Baddie energy real soon, but for now we’re honoring rest, healing, and listening to our bodies. In the meantime—Drop in and say hey, share what you’re working on, or even just check in. This is still YOUR space too✨ Wishing you a life filled with hearts 💕 butterflies 🦋 and the joy of creating your own kind of beautiful. 💖 Because sewing is cheaper than therapy 🧵 🪡 ✨
