I've been working today on a short I DPed last year where the producer came back after several unsuccessful edits from several different editors and asked me to do the edit. It's been fun diving through the memories (good and bad) of the shoot. Working on getting a month ahead in the edits I do of a small podcast I produce called the "Grace & Truth Podcast" which has been a task this week. I am also desperately trying to finish a wedding project for a client I filmed a long time ago. It's a mountain of footage where every little thing I do counts a lot. 😅😵💫 So, editing my face off. 😶 I can't wait to be done with all the editing projects, grab my typewriter, and take some time out in nature to myself.

Need feedback
This 22min video will be all about IDENTITY SHIFTING... i'm looking to narrow down my title for my next video, i'm kinda doubting the one saying "I'm not not a morning person" as it might be too specific. Becoming a morning person is kind of story vehicle to the video, but the core of the message is about changing limiting beliefs. let me know your thoughts....which one peaks most curiosity to you? @Alex Boke Ooo, 6 could be good (maybe could be "I need to wake up" or "This is a wake up call"). Some other ideas: My Only Way Out When It All Shuts Off My Attention Reckoning Return To Focus I Found Rock Bottom The Meaningless Screen OR The Black Screen Just some ideas... Don't know if any are any good. 😆🤷♂️

https://youtu.be/NW2A-hqumaE What if becoming a morning person isn’t about discipline…but identity? I used to wake up and immediately reach for my phone. Doomscrolling felt automatic. Mornings felt like something other people had figured out. This video (dropping soon) is about the clunky, imperfect side quest of shifting from phone-addicted night owl to someone who actually looks forward to sunrise. It started as an experiment, turned into a ritual, then became something deeper, a story about environment design, community, habit change, and the strange way identity forms through repeated action. Somewhere along the grind, I started realizing that transformation doesn’t happen by becoming a different person overnight…it happens by showing for yourself. If you’ve ever felt stuck in loops of distraction, struggled to change a habit, or wondered how people reinvent themselves, this one’s for you. What identity are you trying to grow into right now?

@Alex Boke Very cool! I live in Atlanta, GA, so I have access to a lot. This was filmed, edited, and performed mainly by myself: https://youtu.be/Tb49wLAOxlg?si=TfhT_qewu9f-VG3u I have access to the city, waterfalls, mountains, old cemeteries, churches all over the state (old and new), the Golden Isles (once a year when I go there for a retreat), the oldest/largest car junkyard in the nation, historic downtown areas, and upscale uptown areas. I also live next to a building and massive fountain that were designed by the guy that designed the Louvre in France.

I’ve been truly living under a rock for a while now. Time for a mini update. Snowboarding has been distracting me BUT! ☝🏼 Video 02 is on its way. It’s been more ambitious than anticipated but it’ll be a fun one. (If you’re interested in being a morning person ☕️) What’s everyone working on these days? Oh, very cool, nice typewriter! Right now I'm setting up a podcast for my church, which has been the majority of my time these past two weeks. Really looking forward to seeing how far I can take it, and will be tapping into some new skills along the way.

@Alex Boke Thanks! We'll start with audio and then work towards video. A large part of the unfamiliarity is coming down to taking a corner of the pastor's office and turning it into a set. 😅 Going to have to figure out how to pad acoustics in a pleasing visual way, and how to light it.
