Thank you, very much, Patrycja Janik! As for blending, 99% of the time I rely on the direct application of a graphite pencil. In addition to the pencil, the main tool I use is a kneaded eraser. Of the blending tools, I use stumps and brushes, but mainly to even out tones, to darken the shadows or to lighten, i.e. to remove excess material that I have applied. I also use brushes and stumps to even out the layers of the white pastels as well as to remove excess white pastel that I have applied on the lightest parts. So on the transitions from dark to light, I almost exclusively use a pencil and a kneaded eraser. I hope I managed to explain how I use the different tools.
