A little about me
Hey guys! I am new here. I currently work a 9-5 as an imports specialist for a freight forwarder out in Denver, CO. Is it possible to be able to go down this road and be successful while working full time? Either way, I'm looking to educate myself as much as I can so that I can start this business for myself eventually. I'm not going to let modern day slavery tie me down forever. I look forward to connecting with everyone! :)

That’s smart to educate yourself in this side of things as well. That’s what I love about this industry there’s always something new to learn. Curious, did you ever pull food commodities when handling drayage moves or is it always dry cargo? I’m leaning towards the reefer niche since I have experience handling those sorts of commodities. I’m thinking maybe I should start off with dry cargo first before diving head first in that market due to the risks but idk, we’ll see

@Amy Reed thank you so much Amy! I wish you the best of luck as well on your journey. I was thinking about learning as much as I can and trying to work evenings and nights and just work at my current job for one more year, save as much as I can and get out so I can fully focus on this.
