Live Interventions With Ed - Benchmarking/ Progress
@Justin McGurk Hola 👋 I was actually looking at ordering the book yesterday. Would you say it belongs on the definite “have to read list” for coaches?
@Siu Mak wait… what? The calls are also 2am for you? Where are you located?
Ed’s Live Intervention Coaching Program
Hello dear fellow Coaches 👋 I just wanted to share with all of you how excited and grateful I am for this opportunity Ed shared on yesterday’s call. Finally after pretty huge financial constraints my wife and I were going through over the last 10-11 months I was ready to invest in myself again. I absolutely don’t believe it was a coincidence that I saw Ed‘s invitation a while ago to yesterday’s session and signed up for the call immediately. Since I was able to stabilize our financial situation again, I’ve been looking at different options to further my training towards becoming a more effective coach, and had set a rough budget for my investment. I was genuinely curious to see how Ed actually does a breakthrough session, but I hadn’t even considered that he would probably be pitching something at the end of the webinar. When he was in the middle of it, I said out loud to myself: “man, this guy is really good!” Not that I had doubted it, but I just hadn’t seen him in action like that. Once he started explaining what the program contains, I was already like 75% in, while hoping the investment wouldn’t exceed my budget. And when he removed the 6 in the front of the normal price (697$ per month) it just became a no-brainer. I am so grateful for this synchronicity that made Ed show up in the exact right moment in time, and that he makes this program accessible for pretty much anyone. I almost couldn’t believe when he mentioned that he will do the weekly calls personally for the next 12 months. That was all I needed to hear to sign up on the spot! In terms of what I’m looking forward most to get from the program, the recordings are already pure gold. I started watching a session immediately at 2am in the morning, and watched a few more today. It’s really great stuff! But overall, I think learning and practicing the actual application of Ed‘s frameworks will be most valuable for me to be a more effective and efficient coach. And of course being around people who are also working towards the same goal.

Day in and day out my ads get bombarded with negative comments about coaching I get tired of people commenting negative things. how all coaches just want to make money etc Coaching is a scam etc Making money is not why I decided to become a coach. There is nothing wrong with making money from coaching However, if it is the most important factor to you as a coach You are most likely going to fail. . . Hey @Erwin Van Der Weele I am also not a native English speaker but could follow everything easily. In many cases there is an option to slow down the speed of the video. For example on loom, it’s on the right side at the bottom, next to the “full screen” button. This link goes to the same video that’s attached to this post: https://www.loom.com/share/2f8894bed20d4fa2a4bc2a8894541501?sid=ba172a3b-6649-4984-bd2b-831c704ac731 And basically you can also just read the post. It explains pretty much everything. Also here you may find another post with basically the same information: https://www.skool.com/lifecoachcertificationfree/classroom/8ba4b069?md=023fc73b2bb14a25ba0bb47e14264f32 Wish you best of success and please feel free to let me know if you still have problems 🙏

@Doaa Mohamed you’re literally commenting under the post that explains how… Did you read it, or watch the video?
Are Sports Coaches and Life Coaches Really So Different?
At first glance, sports coaching and life coaching might seem worlds apart… One takes place on the pitch, the other in a more personal, reflective space. But dig a little deeper, and the similarities become striking. Whether it's a football coach like Arne Slot demanding peak performance from Mo Salah, or a life coach supporting someone through a personal or professional crossroads… both are working toward the same thing: unlocking human potential under pressure. Terms like resilience, focus, adaptability, discipline, and recovery aren’t just for elite athletes. These are the same traits that help people navigate complex life challenges: from career transitions and relationship struggles to burnout, self-doubt, and identity shifts. Both athletes and individuals outside of sport experience the highs of progress and the lows of setbacks. And just like in sports, when your internal resources (energy, mindset, motivation, etc.) get depleted, performance suffers, whether it’s on the field, at home, or in your day-to-day life. But here’s the twist. Athletes have coaches for almost every aspect of their lives… fitness nutrition mindset performance They train hard, rest well, and recover intentionally. Now think about everyday life: long work hours, family responsibilities, emotional stress, minimal downtime… and no structured support system. There’s no training ground for life. Most people are expected to "just deal with it" on their own. This is where life coaching steps in. A life coach is like a personal trainer for your mind, emotions, and overall well-being. They help you gain clarity, build confidence, shift perspectives, and take action. Whether you're stuck in a rut, facing burnout, going through change, or simply trying to live more intentionally, a life coach helps you reconnect with your potential and design the life you want to lead. Unlike a therapist, a life coach focuses on the present and future, helping you move forward with purpose.

Exactly!!! Thanks for sharing this insight Ed 🙏 That angle is a great selling point and might actually make people better understand what we’re doing and why that’s important for pretty much any human being. My cousin - who happens to be one of my beta clients - has been involved in semi professional sports for a huge part of his life and in our first session he made exactly that reference… That’s why it was super easy for him to see the benefits of working together. Plus he actually wants to pay me even though I offered to work for free with him. If only the majority of people were semi professional athletes 😁
