🎄 Forgiving Before Christmas
As Christmas approaches, we often prepare our homes, our gifts, and our schedules—but God also invites us to prepare our hearts. One of the most powerful ways to do that is through forgiveness. Why Forgiveness Matters This Season: ✨ Christmas is about grace. Jesus came to offer us forgiveness we could never earn. Extending that same grace to others reflects His heart. ✨ Forgiveness brings freedom. Holding onto hurt only weighs us down. Releasing it opens the door for peace, healing, and joy. ✨ It restores relationships. Sometimes a simple step toward forgiveness can begin healing wounds that have lingered too long. ✨ It honors the meaning of Christmas. The birth of Christ is God’s gift of reconciliation to us. Forgiving others is our way of passing that gift forward. As we enter this special season, may we not only celebrate Christ’s birth—but also choose to let go, forgive, and allow His love to fill the places where hurt once lived. Forgiveness prepares our hearts for Christmas more than anything we wrap or decorate. 🎁❤️

@Loretta Wilkerson That’s such a real struggle, and you expressed it beautifully. Self-forgiveness often takes longer, especially when the weight feels familiar. Trusting the Lord to carry what we keep picking back up is part of the journey and His grace truly is sufficient.

@Linda Riddle Well said. Forgiveness is as much about our own healing and salvation as it is about releasing others. It’s a choice that protects our hearts and draws us closer to God.

✨ St. Nicholas & Christlike Generosity
The story of St. Nicholas reminds us that generosity is more than giving gifts—it’s reflecting the heart of Christ. His kindness, compassion, and quiet acts of blessing pointed people to Jesus long before Christmas gift-giving became a tradition. In this season, may we be inspired to: ✨ Give with love ✨ Serve without expecting anything in return ✨ Bless others the way Christ has blessed us True generosity isn’t about the size of the gift, but the love behind it.

@Linda Fenwick Handmade gifts carry a kind of love you can’t put a price on. The fact that you’ve held onto them all these years says so much about the care your grandmother put into each one and the memories wrapped up in them. Those kinds of gifts become part of your story, not just something you open once and forget..

@Latisha Dashno Handmade gifts are always the most meaningful. They show time, care, and creativity that store-bought things just can’t match. What kind of things do you enjoy making?
🌿 Finding Strength in Spiritual Dryness
There are seasons when we feel distant from God — when prayers feel unanswered, worship feels heavy, and faith seems quiet. These moments of spiritual dryness can be discouraging, but they are also opportunities for growth. Just as roots grow deeper in drought, our faith can grow stronger in silence. God hasn’t left — He’s teaching us to trust beyond our feelings and to seek Him more deeply. 💬 Reflection: What helps you stay close to God during dry seasons? Have you experienced renewal after a time of spiritual dryness? Let’s encourage one another in faith — even in the quiet seasons, God is still at work.

@Olivia Smith I’m really sorry you’re walking through so much at once. Losing your mom and your dogs—those are deep losses, and it makes sense that this week feels especially heavy. I’m holding you in prayer and asking God to surround you with comfort, strength, and the kind of peace that steadies your heart through each moment. You don’t have to carry all of this alone. Your mom’s love is still part of you, and I’m praying you feel God’s nearness in the middle of all this grief...

🙌 The Ten Lepers & Gratitude
The story of the ten lepers in Luke 17 is a powerful reminder of how important gratitude truly is. Ten were healed — but only one returned to thank Jesus. Here’s what this teaches us today: 1. Blessings are easy to receive, but gratitude is a choice. Many experience God’s goodness, but few pause to acknowledge Him. 2. A thankful heart stands out. The one who returned was noticed, honored, and remembered. 3. Gratitude brings us closer to God. The leper didn’t just receive healing — he received a deeper connection through his thankfulness. 4. Gratitude shifts our perspective. It helps us see not just what we have, but the One who provides. 5. Thanksgiving is an act of worship. When we give thanks, we give God glory. Let’s be like the one who returned — choosing gratitude, acknowledging God’s goodness, and keeping a thankful heart every day. 💛 What’s one thing you’re grateful for today?

That story always stands out to me because it shows that gratitude isn’t just a response it’s a posture of the heart. Choosing to return, to recognize the source of our blessings, is what deepens our connection with God. Today, I’m grateful for the clarity and grounding that come from pausing to reflect. It helps me see God’s goodness in ways I might otherwise overlook..
