Your website is not the whole business
I want to share this because I learned the hard way I once had a website built; it was expensive, and it looked amazing. The truth no one tells you A beautiful website is not enough Looking back, I see the problem clearly I could not create enough content quickly.I didn't know how to write ads that connected with the right audience. I did not have an email sequence that kept people engaged So even though the website looked beautiful, the customer journey was not strong enough Most people do not take action the first time they visit your website. They need reminders, education, trust, and helpful follow-up that continues the conversation after they leave That is why Buildy feels so different to me. It is not just helping me create a website. It is helping me create the emails, content, lead capture, messaging, and follow-up pathway that keeps people connected.

@Jackie Rennie I think this is very Smart!!☝️🧐 I use Gemini but also have CHAT and it’s good to use them all from what I hear 👂 (my mentor Michael) Tells me everything’s moving so fast for even the Tech people!! So that’s why it’s important to FOCUS on your NICHE you really feel ALIGNED WITH!! As you are😎🤙 I personally feel like in the next year or 2, the ones who really dug into this and built something they can stand on, Will be able to OWN a good portion of the industry they invested TIME in!! Just my 2 sense!!

Buildy saved me
Honest Truth Technical jargon is earthquake material for me. The minute someone starts talking about complicated back-end systems, integrations, code, plug-ins, widgets, and whatever else lives in the mysterious tech cupboard, I want to dive under my desk and wait until it is safe to come out. I had no coding experience. No desire to spend weeks learning systems that made my brain ask for annual leave. And absolutely no interest in being buried under technical language when all I really wanted to do was build something that would help people navigate the Health system. This is a problem I am positive others have experienced and WHY we need to address it with potential customers and people we wish to collaborate with

Making changes to DNS record
I have contacted technical support but not sure if this might be a question for others. I am trying to verify an external website and I have spoken to buildy and he has advised this adding something to DNS I spoke to buildy and I need to add something to my DNS but do not want to break my website. Has anyone else come up with this. I understand what he was saying but I cound not access the DNS to make the changes. Opening it up to the room as I have to wait til next Wednesday for support.

Hey Gwen😎 I once before, close to a year ago now, had bought a domain outside of buildy’s platform, and it was through: namecheap.com— the thought was.. buy it from a different registrar, then point it to buildy.. which you can do but the thing is first, The DNS for buildy is private to my knowledge, and that’s to protect the company and all of its users.. and the reason I came across this information was: I created a google workspace account/ subscription( that I don’t even use now/$14-15 a month or something like that:) but it’s there and I needed it to be presentable to future business relations etc.. the whole thing for me was learning how to do that through namecheap.com.. and trust me it took some time to figure it out on that end and some time with Gemini back n forth but I ended not using it anyway.. so to me it best not play around with the DNS or MX records in my opinion.. Just work on design or research for your idea etc til then!! There’s always something to do on buildy in my experience!!😎✅💎 Again just my 2 Sense!!🤙
