How are those summer goals coming along? I know Vince and Nikki will hold us accountable. What, two more weeks of summer?

Passing on something I've learned and curious if others have found the same success. I joined our local county chamber of commerce a few years ago. I have made so many useful connections. It may be worth paying the membership fee to join your local chamber. Our county has a lower "non-profit" rate of about $180 a year. Tons of opportunities exist to meet key leaders and business owners in the community. Anyone else have thoughts? Membership fee pays for itself in new donors every year.

Does anyone have a good resource or explanation to describe the difference in roles/responsibilities of the Board of Directors vs. an Advisory Board. I've seen many organizations with both, but I don't quite understand the distinction. Thank you!
