Anyone Else? 🥦👀
My fall seeds are sprouting! And I may or may not get unreasonably excited when I have new seedling babies! Anyone else feel that way?? I feel like it's the equivalent of puppy or kitten photos, but for gardeners 🤣 Bonus points if you add a photo of your fall seedlings!

Still a little hot to start. Next week we’re going to be in the high 90s. Everything is ready to get started!
Sweet potato harvest!
My first time growing sweet potatoes and couldn’t be happier with the results! Anyone have tips for curing? Given it’s 100 degrees where I’m at for the next few weeks? I read any that are damage (i.e. nicked with my shovel or broken) can’t be cured. Is that correct?

Well done!! 👍🏼
What are you growing for fall?
Just started some more seeds today! Lettuce, spinach, broccoli, cauliflower, kale, Brussels sprouts, celery, herbs, and more! What's on your fall growing list? Have you started your seeds yet?

I had hoped to start my companion planting this week but the temperature jumped up in the 110s again so maybe I’ll get out there next week. I tried to start some indoors but I have a cat that just doesn’t stop eating the leaves.
Better weather ahead!
I’m so glad that the temperatures are cooling down! ! Let’s Grow!!

@Danielle O'Neill looks like we’re gonna be back to 105 by Wednesday. But hey I’ll take that over 118 but it’s dry !

@Sandy Chilese grass problem? We have a problem here with grass. We’re not allowed to grow it!!! They’ve removed it all and replaced it with the synthetic stuff. Let me tell you that synthetic grass radiates heat! Found that out coaching football. Now almost every school has it!
