To buy or not to buy…
Hi!! We brought Tetra CoolPeel this year (which I’m loving 🫶🏻) and now Cartessa is offering a very attractive “end of year” deal on Virtue RF. I know there has been some negative press on RFMN… but I would love to be able to adress more of my patient’s concerns including under eye bag, jowl, submental heaviness, and firmer skin… thought?? Q. Do you think bringing RFMN is a good idea? Q. Any thoughts on Virtue? Thank you so much 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻

Hi Dan and fellow providers, Do you still think RF microneedling is the best first device for a solo provider practice? If not, what would you recommend? I recently demoed Morpheus 8 and I was pleasantly surprised how comfortable the treatment was, but they numbed me for 1 HOUR 😳 (My appointment time for RF would be 90-120 minutes). Currently, my patient's concerns are: 1. Hyperpigmentation - IPL 2. Lower face heaviness (jolws and submental fullness) - RF 3. Fine lines and pores - Resurfacing More I look into devices and talk to reps from different companies, more confused I get 😵💫 Any guidance/recommendations? Thank you 🫶

@Lannie Mitchell Thank you Lannie! Treatment time is definitely a concern of mine as a solo provider. From my demo and observation: Morpheus took 90+ mins (including 1hour of numbing) Opus also took 90+ mins (including 30min of numbing) I’m demoing CoolPeel soon and will absolutely ask all those questions! Thanks again 😊 Which device did you get as your first device btw?

@Marie Aquino Thank you for much for your feedback 🫶🏻 I’ve decided against RFMN as my first device as it may not be the best fit for my current practice workflow as a solo provider but I’ll definitely consider Inmode over Rhorer when the time comes 😊 Thanks again 💕

What would you do??
I politely declined a new patient who wanted to fly out on the night of the appointment (she wanted cheek& jaw filler) saying her safety is my number one priority and this is what she wrote back… [This is just *gentle* feedback from someone who gets filler / Botox all over the country multiple times a year. Sharing your lack of confidence about my safety with you injecting me is not smart practice. Now I would never come in because I'm worried about your experience level. I've never had a practitioner ever say this to me before and I've been getting injected the last decade. Thank you for your time.] I know I did the right thing but just wanted to see what others thought… thank you 🫶🏻

You’re right, convenience should never come before safety, and it’s tough when doing the right thing still opens the door to criticism. I appreciate your reminder that we’re not alone in this, and that staying grounded in our values is what truly protects our patients and ourselves 💗

Sculptra vs Radiesse
Dan can you suggest either one over each other . I like the radiesse as there is no 72 hour mixing for it. But wanna get the results like sculptra. Thanks
