Adding my claw bolt to telegram group chat but no response
Hi, my openclaw bot works fine and as expected most of the time when we were working within the telegram DM. However, I have hard time to add it to my other group chat. The purpose is, besides show off to my friends, I also want to let my friends within the group to use him as an assistants (e.g. check stock's Fundamentals analysis data, or RSI, Support and resistance..etc) . I already tried everything including granting him as admin, enabled all the telegram group policy but it is still no luck. Anyone successfully did this? I tried a group of three and he was able to work, as long as we @ his name. But for the 30 people group, he just so shame that not give a response. thanks for helping / advice. šŸ™

Yeah that’s a pretty common issue, once you move to bigger groups, it tends to only respond reliably when @mentioned. It’s less about permissions and more about how it handles noise + context in multi-user chats. That’s actually where I’ve been experimenting with CLN Work adds a bit more structure so things don’t get lost when multiple people are interacting.

@Jason Spalding Haha yeah that’s exactly the vibe I’ve been seeing—super powerful, but also feels like managing a bunch of very capable interns šŸ˜„ The guardrails + structure piece is really the interesting part. That’s actually why I’ve been experimenting with CLN Work about adding more agents, more about keeping everything aligned so it doesn’t turn into chaos. Curious what kind of guardrails you’ve found actually work so far?
