Knit & natter coffee morning
I started a knit & natter coffee morning, 10am until 12 noon every 2nd and last Thursday of the month, first ‘meeting’ arrived and 1 person turned up, great, word of mouth will surely mean more next time, apparently not, here I am at 10:40am knitting alone

Just my suggestion but maybe change it to a weekend, many people are at work during the week
Where do you all find patterns?

All of the above except tiktok, but also I look on yarn suppliers sites like Lovecraft's, hobbii, black sheep wools etc. but my two main gotos are ravelry and etsy
Second question for research
When you buy patterns are you influenced by the colours /yarn used?

I've never made a pattern using the recommended yarn or colourways, I buy for the design and vision in my own mind what colourways would work best for me
Question 3 😀
Thanks in advance to everyone who is answering these. And for those who have recently joined. Welcome. Just some context I am currently doing an MA in creative practice. As part of the project, I am designing 12 patterns for knitting and crocheting. So I am doing a little research on pattern buying. So when you buy a pattern, you're more likely to go back adn buy other patterns from that designer?

Depends how well written the pattern is, if it had well written explanations to explain how to do stitch patterns, if it's a charted pattern, in my view a written version should also be available. For me though, I would prefer designers listed the weight of yarn used rather than the brands or shade
