Catching myself think
After the money webinars this week…… I cannot tell you how many times I have seen ads for clothes online. And I click on them and I think to myself oh that’s super cute. I would like that outfit….. and then I have a conversation with myself in my head…., but why? Why do you think you want this outfit? Because you definitely don’t need it. You have a closet full. What are you missing that you think you need this outfit? Is it someone to tell you you look pretty? Are you missing Marcus and all the places you used to go so having an outfit makes you fulfill that…… and I click out out of the ad and tell myself you don’t need it. You’re good just as you are with what you already have. Baby steps.

It’s interesting to think about cravings in this way. I get these moments of wanting enough money to be able to get “safe” cars for my kids. It comes down to a neural pathway of safety for me, which is driven by fear. And as soon as I tackle those thoughts it’s gone and I’m ok with what is.
What was your biggest click this week? 💡
Share it with me below! Whether you tuned into a podcast, webinar, Q&A, practiced w a community friend, or just heard something for the 10th time and it finally settled in…🤣 I’d love to hear below! What is the biggest win! Also doubling up on this Law of Focus is actually going to bring in more of this energy so it’s a win/win! 💫

Honestly for me it’s circling back and seeing the win or finding the breadcrumb. You’ve said it in every webinar but over the last week it clicked to why. Showing myself the proof has been such an ah-ha moment. It’s the secret sauce.
You’ve probably noticed this… you spiral, then judge yourself for spiraling, and it gets worse.
You’ve probably noticed this… you spiral, then judge yourself for spiraling, and it gets worse. And what makes this even more confusing is—by all the “rules” you’ve learned, this shouldn’t still be happening. You have awareness now. You understand your patterns. You’ve done the inner work. So when these moments still show up, it can almost feel like something is wrong with you… or like your tools aren’t working the way they’re supposed to. But what if the real issue isn’t the spiral itself… and it’s not even that you’re having it—but what you’re doing inside of it that no one ever taught you to see? Because there’s a very specific way the mind starts relating to “where you are” in those moments that quietly turns a temporary state into a repeating loop. And until you can see that layer, it will feel like you’re constantly trying to fix something that keeps slipping out of your control. If you want to understand what’s actually happening underneath this—and learn how to meet yourself in those moments with real self-love, not resistance or pressure—come join me in the webinar. We'll be live at 9am MST and I promise you won't want to miss this! 💗

I’m excited for this one!
wealth q&a
is this happening at a different time? it’s been saying ‘waiting for host to start meeting’ since i tried to log on a minute or two after 10:00 (my time 🙃). i’m just wanting to ask about how the energetics of money works with spouses who have different views of money? a little bit of a dramatic example, but say one thinks anything is possible and the other would prefer to just hide all their money under a mattress.. good balance? or as a couple with shared finances, how does it work when views toward money differ?

Something came up for Maggie and it was cancelled but that’s a great question. My ex was a hide money under the mattress person. I think some of that plus some of how my dad spoke about money influenced how I think about money today and how I spend and save. I haven’t had time to dig into it but it’s such and interesting topic.

@Olivia Thompson yeah this put a different spin on the finances piece for me. I would say that it depends on both of your finance goals and if you constantly feel like you don’t make enough (so maybe one of you is holding one of those beliefs heavy in your field ) to prevent you from making more money. Or hindering you from ever getting ahead. So i love your question about the partner bc i also never thought about that piece of it. When I first started attending these webinars i had low back pain and which Maggie intuited it to be finance sitting heavy in my field. and it took so long for me to realize how that was showing up . It was feeling like im not in control of my money like someone else determines it. I’ve worked on that part quite a bit and lessened my low back pain a bunch but I’m curious to see more with this different lens of thought.
