Energies of the week: May 4th-May 10th
PAST — LUNA MOTH 🦋 Something has already died — and that's exactly what needed to happen. Luna Moth in the past position is telling you that a transformation has already taken place. A habit, a belief, a pattern, a version of yourself — something has completed its cycle and is no longer meant to be carried forward. The luna moth lives for only a short time. It doesn't waste a single moment of it. And that's the energy behind you right now: intensity, brevity, purpose. Whatever happened recently — even if it felt abrupt or uncomfortable — was not a loss. It was a completion. Maybe you finally let go of something you'd been gripping too tightly. Maybe an obsession or a fixation loosened its hold on you. Maybe you stepped away from something that was consuming you — and in the space that opened up, you started to see more clearly. This card is also deeply connected to the soul's journey. If you've been processing grief, ancestral patterns, or spiritual shifts — know that what moved through you recently was real, and it served a purpose. The old form is gone. What's emerging is something far more beautiful. Let it. PRESENT — ELEPHANT 🐘 Right now, you're being called to lean into connection. Elephant energy is about loyalty, family bonds, community, and strength through togetherness. This isn't a week to isolate or try to figure everything out on your own. The people around you — the ones who truly show up, the ones who are loyal and steady — they matter more than ever right now. Take a moment this week to think about your circle. Who's in it? Who have you been meaning to reach out to but haven't? Who has been quietly holding space for you that you maybe haven't fully acknowledged? This is also a card of recognizing your own strengths. You are stronger, wiser, and more resourceful than you give yourself credit for. Elephant energy doesn't rush. It moves with intention, with memory, with deep knowing. That's your energy right now. And if you've been sitting on a creative idea — a project, a new direction, something that's been whispering to you — this card says start. The conditions are right. The support is there. You don't need to have it all figured out. You just need to take the first step and trust that you won't be walking alone.

Ritual April 2nd Pink Moon: Balance
On April 2nd, the Pink Moon rises. And before you scroll past thinking rituals require crystals, candles, special tools, or some kind of spiritual expertise they don't. This one asks almost nothing of you. Just a pen, a piece of paper, and ten quiet minutes. That's it. What is the Pink Moon, and why does it matter? The Pink Moon is April's full moon, named not because it turns pink, but because of the wild pink phlox flowers that blanket the ground across North America every spring. It's one of the first blooms after a long winter. That's the whole metaphor right there. This year, the Pink Moon falls in Libra; the sign of balance, relationships, and the courageous act of being in honest connection with others and yourself. Libra is ruled by Venus, which means this moon has a particular tenderness to it. It's asking you to look at where you've been out of balance. In your relationships. In how you show up. In what you've been tolerating quietly instead of addressing. The energy of this full moon sits in a window — April 1st through April 4th — so you don't have to rush to catch a single moment. You have time. But tonight, if you can, step outside and look up. Let the light land on you. That alone is enough to begin. The ritual: simple, honest, effective Find somewhere quiet. It can be your kitchen table, your bed, your car. Anywhere you won't be interrupted for ten minutes. You don't need to set anything up. Just bring a pen and something to write on. Step one — Empty the cup At the top of the page, write this question: What am I still carrying that isn't mine to carry anymore? Then write without stopping. Don't edit, don't re-read, don't overthink. Let it spill. Old resentments. Guilt that doesn't belong to you. A version of yourself you've outgrown but keep performing. A relationship dynamic you know isn't working. A story you've been telling yourself for years that has quietly been shrinking you. The full moon is a natural moment of illumination, things that have been sitting in the shadows tend to surface. Let them. Write until the page feels emptier than your chest.

Egg cleansing ritual
The egg cleansing ritual also known as the limpia in Latin American traditions is one of the most powerful and ancient energy clearing practices in existence. It has been used for thousands of years across cultures from Mexico to the Philippines, from Africa to Southern Europe. An egg is a living, porous object. It absorbs energy. And when used with clear intention it can pull stagnant, heavy or foreign energy from your field in a way that few other tools can match. Here is how to do a full egg cleansing ritual properly. From preparation to reading the results. What you will need A fresh raw egg at room temperature. Do not use a refrigerator-cold egg as the temperature difference can interfere with the process. One egg is usually enough for a full body cleanse. Two if you feel particularly heavy. A glass of water — clear, plain water. A transparent glass so you can see clearly. Salt — a pinch to add to the water after the ritual. Optional — a white candle, incense or sage to cleanse the space before you begin. Step 1 — Prepare your space Before you begin, take a moment to cleanse the space around you. Open a window. Light a candle or some incense. Take three slow deep breaths and set a clear intention. Say aloud or in your mind something like: "I am clear in my intention. I ask that this ritual remove all energy that is not mine, all heaviness, all blockages, all that no longer serves my highest good." Your intention is what activates the practice. Do not skip this step. Step 2 — Prepare yourself Stand or sit comfortably. Take a moment to feel into your body. Notice where you feel heavy, tense or blocked. You do not need to analyse it — just notice. Hold the egg in both hands for a moment. Breathe onto it. This connects your energy to the egg and prepares it to work with your specific field. You can say a prayer, an intention or simply breathe. Whatever feels true for you. Step 3 — The cleansing Begin at the top of your head. Hold the egg gently and move it in slow circular motions — always moving downward, from head to feet. You are literally pulling energy down and out of your field.

Joanna this brings me an answer to something that has been on my mind, a decision to be made, a path I will regret wasting my time on if I continue. Life is truly precious, why waste it 💐
