I found my way back here because my boyfriend told me to leave his house, even though I have nowhere to go, after a fight this morning. I'm so tired of feeling invalidated by the person who is supposed to love me. I feel like love is supposed to seek understanding and hold space for emotion. But anytime I communicate with him about how hes hurt my feelings, or I dont like something, its turned into how it affects him and that he doesn't ever do anything right. He mocks my complaints, rolls his eyes and shuts down my feelings as if theyre not allowed or valid and makes my emotional response about how it affects him. I want so bad to break free of this attachment and walk away so bad. I want to love myself enough to not keep seeking it from him. Hoping to find that from these videos and this community. I am currently in a hotel room until I can catch a flight back home.
