David Suchet has such a wonderful voice!! I have listened to many books of the Bible that he has read. I agree, his voice has helped me deepen my understanding, too.
Good morning!
I was wondering if anyone has read, “The Liturgy of the Land: Cultivating a Catholic Homestead” by Jason M. Craig and Thomas D Van Horn? It is described as, “In The Liturgy of the Land: Cultivating a Catholic Homestead, Craig and Van Horn present the practicalities and theological aspects behind the desire for a productive, holy home. Our current culture understands economy in efficient consumeristic terms, but our Catholic Faith tells us different. The productive homestead is the center of economic life and the family is at the center of the homestead. This book aims at bringing the stories from their experience into a presentation and proposal of homesteading as a way of life, considering the principles (why?) and the practicalities (how?).”
Founding Members: Read This
Welcome! This is a community of Catholics who are called back to the land. If you are here, you are here because you sense something is shifting. Founding members help shape the culture. This week, I want every member to answer this: What is your 5-year land vision for your family? Where do you want to be? Why? Be specific. We’ll be discussing quality responses live Wednesday.

5-years ….. hmmm… we are currently on 2.6 acres of land, part wooded and part substantial lawn area. In 5-years we hope to have raised beds, fruit trees bushes and plants, nut trees, be harvesting honey and maple syrup, established veg beds (perennial and annual), ducks for eggs, and goats for milk cheese ice cream.
