Roast my new sales page!
This page is for a recreated and rebranded membership that goes live mid-April. So now is the perfect time for feedback. Hit me with it and don’t be shy. What’s interesting? What’s confusing? Even if you aren’t the target demographic, I’m open to your thoughts. Thanks in advance. https://lpages.theholymess.com/the-holy-weigh/

@Aeon Bancuyo thanks for taking the time to give me a good roast. I appreciate it.
Not My Best, But I Went for It and Flopped (AKA Roast My Post)
I'm in a copywriting academy that encourages us to post about our expertise on LI. I tried a post out today and just tanked. I feel like I used to be better at writing leads/hooks in my 20s and early 30s. Any exercises I can try to get better at them? Anyway, here's the post: The best copy you write is going to be about the topic you can't get enough of. The subject matter that consumes your thoughts day and night. What you live and breathe. The reason it's going to be your best copy? Because it's loaded with your enthusiasm. You are here to show the world exactly why they need your product. Don't be generic. We've seen enough generic posts to stack as high as the Tower of Babel. As the kids say, let your freak flag fly. You may not see the vanity metrics pile in, but people will notice and want to learn more. And that's exactly where you want them. Want to know more about creating copy that attracts and drives leads? Send me a DM today.

I think the middle to end is quite good. The first sentence is blah so that’s probably losing people. Some freak examples might help and could be your hook. The weirder the better.

@Kitoko Ehl the video is the best part IMHO. Definitely keep that. People connect with people before they buy, and you are warm and engaging on the video, builds know, like, trust.
Help! roast my lead magnet!
this is a one-pager (attached below) to inform people about branding so i can improve my business. if you could answer my questions, i would be grateful! What stood out to you most? Did you try the color framework on your About page? After reading this, how would you describe what BrandLink does? On a scale of 1–5, how confident are you that your Skool's first impression is helping you grow right now? Would you be open to a 15-minute call to talk about what we'd change? thank you!

Interesting and informative. Clear layout. Feels a bit canned to me. Something I could read in a webinar or book in many places. I’m looking for your unique twist. I liked the color page and would use that sooner. My brand uses purple and I was happy to see those are values I want to convey. That built trust.

I’m a pastor’s wife and my husband and I have been in ministry for 30 years. We have a private school attached to our church. Parents are anxious! School security has completely changed over the last decade. So I know this is important, and we have paid companies to install cameras, hold seminars for teachers, etc. I was a bit unclear what you are offering. Cyber security? Prevent Intruders and stolen property? Prevent Mass shooters? We are here to serve God and our members. For us, a focus on relieving our members’ and school family’s anxiety and keeping them safe would be most appealing.
