does anyone have some tips on how to memorise english quotes, techniques and author's purpose really quickly? I have to memorise about 50 for my upcoming trial exams this Thursday for an IB english paper 2

Recently in class we've been doing transformations and functions. I understand what different numbers do to the function (like shift left/right up/down etc) but am unsure as to how to determine the order in which the transformations are applied. Any help would be much appreciated!! (I've attached a screenshot for reference)
