Many of you know I run The Forbes Factor with my daughter, Makenna. But what you may not know is what that means to me. I’ve built businesses. Stood on stages. Sold millions of products. Chased dreams that once seemed impossible. But there is something profoundly different about building beside your child. Makenna has watched me win. She’s also watched me fall apart, get back up, reinvent myself, doubt myself and keep going anyway. And somewhere along the way, something beautiful happened. She stopped being the little girl watching Mom build her dreams… and became the woman standing beside me building ours. We challenge each other. We see the world differently. But I wouldn’t trade that for anything. Because success changes when the person sitting next to you is someone you once carried in your arms. Someday, the stages will go dark. The applause will fade. The awards will collect dust. But I will always remember that for this chapter of my life, I got to look to my side and say: “That’s my daughter. An upscale nursery had event and asked me to do a vendor table for my Mighty Natural Relief pain rub for people. . I gave away samples to take and literature and one man circled back to buy a bottle. So beautiful as pics show despite the heat. Plant people are SUCH happy people. One Customer even gave me a pot and plant. I talked with a middle schooler who deeply loved plants and I gave him ideas to lease plants one day to realtors and home stagers. I said make your dream your career.
