You’ve spent so many years caring for everyone else, it makes sense that your own heart got a little quiet. But this chapter isn’t the end of you. Having given of myself as a High school teacher,sometimes to the point of exhaustion,I have asked the same question.Why? I believe it was my true calling. As a child my Dad built me a cubby house in our backyard.Bless him.On one wall he installed a chalkboard so I could draw.I felt the need to show and help other kids in our neighboorhood so became the teacher when we would play act.That need to help and guide others led to a 30 year career in Education.However,I did lose parts of myself in the process.Having retired a couple of years ago it's a question of what now? I'm excited and hopeful for this next journey 😊🏞🛤🌏
