šŸŒšŸ”„ Mini-Challenge: Your Top 3 Languages
Let’s think long-term for a second… If you could choose ANY three languages to learn in the future… šŸ‘‰ Which ones would you pick? And more importantly… šŸ‘‰ Why those three? Career? Travel? Culture? Just because they sound amazing? Leo is curious too: 🦁 Lions think big. ā“ The Question What are your top 3 languages you’d like to learn — and why? šŸ“ Your Task • Answer in your target language • List your top 3 languages • Explain why you chose each one • Keep it simple but clear • Go beyond one sentence • Use AI as needed ✨ Example ā€œMy top three languages are French, Japanese, and German. I like French because of the culture and travel opportunities. Japanese interests me because it is very different from my language. German is useful for business and sounds strong.ā€ Big goals. Big vision. What’s your top 3? šŸŒšŸ¦šŸ’¬

@Mari Vedana Good choice! English is widely spoken in Singapore, and it's also one of the country's official languages, along with Malay, Mandarin, and Tamil — probably the easiest one for Portuguese speakers to get used to šŸ˜…
šŸŒž Mini-Challenge: Your Perfect Sunday Language Routine
Easy one for today šŸ˜„ it’s Sunday. No rush. No stress. Just a perfect day to focus on your language. Leo approves of this kind of planning: 🦁 Lions don’t skip practice… even on Sundays. ā“ The Question What does your perfect Sunday language learning routine look like? šŸ“ Your Task • Answer in your target language • Describe your ideal routine • What would you do first? Then what? • Listening? Speaking? Reading? Writing? • How long would you study? • Go beyond one sentence • Use AI as needed ✨ Example ā€œOn a perfect Sunday, I would start by listening to a podcast for 20 minutes. Then I would review vocabulary and practice speaking for 30 minutes. In the evening, I would watch a movie in the language.ā€ No pressure. Just intention. How does your perfect Sunday look? šŸŒžšŸ¦šŸ’¬

My perfect Sunday for language study? That’s a tough question... I’d probably start by reviewing my Anki cards, then do a bit of Duolingo in German. I’d also spend some time watching videos in German for extra exposure. After that, I’d watch something in English and look up any new words. If they’re useful, I’d add them to Anki.
@Ana Maria Silva Sehr gut!!
šŸ¦šŸ”„ Mini-Challenge: How Do You Deal with Fear of Making Mistakes?
Let’s be honest for a second… One of the biggest problems in language learning is not grammar. It’s not vocabulary. It’s this: šŸ‘‰ Fear of making mistakes. The hesitation. The overthinking. The ā€œI’ll speak when I’m readyā€ mindset. But Leo has something to say about that: 🦁 Lions don’t wait to be perfect. They act. They try. They learn. ā“ The Question How do you deal with the fear of making mistakes when learning a language? šŸ“ Your Task • Answer in your target language • Share your strategy or mindset • What helps you push through that fear? • Or what advice would you give someone else? • Go beyond one sentence • Use AI as needed ✨ Example ā€œI try to remind myself that mistakes are part of the process. If I wait to be perfect, I will never speak. It’s better to communicate imperfectly than not communicate at all.ā€ Fear is normal. But progress belongs to the ones who speak anyway. 🦁 So tell us… how do you handle it?

@Arthur NascimentoIt's normal to feel afraid, my friend. With time and by trying a little each day, you can overcome this fear.
šŸ¦šŸ”„ Mini-Challenge: How Often Should You Practice? (Be Honest.)
šŸ‘‰ What’s actually the right frequency to learn a language? Every day? A few times a week? Long sessions? Short sessions? Everyone has an opinion. ā“ The Question How often do you think someone should practice to really improve — and why? šŸ“ Your Task • Answer in your target language • Share what you think is the ideal frequency of practice • Explain why that works • You can talk about your own experience • Go beyond one sentence • Use AI as needed ✨ Example ā€œI think practicing every day, even for a short time, is the best approach. It keeps the language fresh in your mind and builds a habit. Long sessions are useful too, but consistency matters more.ā€ Leo doesn’t care about perfection. He cares about consistency. The real question is… Are you practicing like a lion? šŸ¦šŸ”„ Leo is watching šŸ‘€

šŸ”„ Lose Your Accent… or Keep It?
Alright… this one is interesting šŸ˜ When learning a language, a lot of people focus on sounding ā€œnative.ā€ But is that really the most important thing? You have two options: šŸ‘‰ Lose your accent completely and sound like a native speaker or šŸ‘‰ Keep your accent, but sound confident, expressive, and charismatic You can only choose one. ā“ The Question Would you rather lose your accent completely… or keep your accent but sound charismatic? Why? šŸ“ Your Task • Answer in your target language • Explain your choice clearly • Go beyond one sentence • Keep it simple but meaningful • Use AI as needed ✨ Example ā€œI would keep my accent but sound charismatic. I think confidence and communication are more important than sounding perfect. An accent can even make someone more interesting if they speak well.ā€ Accent or charisma… what matters more to you? šŸŽ¤šŸ”„

It depends on how strong the accent is. If someone has a very heavy accent that sometimes makes them hard to understand, then yes, I would prefer to lose it.But in my case, thankfully, my accent isn’t that strong. In fact, it even has some variations that can be seen as interesting or unique. So, considering my current level, I would rather keep my accent and focus on becoming more confident, expressive, and charismatic. After all, let’s be honest: it’s much more engaging to listen to someone who speaks with confidence—even if they make a few mistakes—than someone who speaks perfectly but is too afraid to express themselves. Anyone who has ever felt afraid of making mistakes while speaking knows exactly what that feels like. And besides, speaking with confidence is extremely important, not only for conversations but also for earning a certain level of respect.
