Affiliate commissions.
Did you know you can earn a lifetime affiliate commission by referring people to Skool or even this group if you bring in people that are not on the platform? Check it out or ask me for more information! 💰💰💰

@Ossie Osmond So just to clarify 👍 You can invite people on the free plan, but to actually earn affiliate commissions, you need to be on the Premium plan, right? So it’s basically: Free = learn + invite Paid = earn 💰 Appreciate you breaking it down—just making sure we all understand it clearly.

@Ossie Osmond Got it—that makes sense. Premium unlocks affiliates 🔓 Once that’s on, you can start paying partners and scale it 💰 Makes sense—that’s the gatekeeper feature. You could keep building demand now, then flip on affiliates with Premium and have people ready to promote day one 🔓💰
Welcome to new members.
This is a general welcome to all members coming in. I encourage you to make a post. Tell us who you are and where from? What do you do? Just browsing or do you have a plumbing or DIY issue you would like to discuss?

@Ossie Osmond 😂 I get the red ❤️ vibe—but yeah, it does low-key feel like supervillain colors. Like ‘nutrient-dense but plotting world domination.’ Maybe that’s the secret to those long lifespans 😄

@Ossie Osmond
Welcome and Introduction.
Hey legends, Welcome to **Ossie Live Plumbing DIY Mentor** — the home for plumbing disasters, deck fails, and woodwork nightmares to get judged… lovingly. 🛠️ I’m Ossie (@OssieLiveMentor). 30+ years in the trades as a maintenance expert, IOPSA chairman and PIRB inspector. I’ve run businesses, taught solar, and even survived getting stabbed in the face (bad day at the office). I lost an eye, so now I’m your "voice in the ear" instead of the guy crawling under the house. **What we do here:** This is for real-time, "mid-job" brainstorming. Stuck on a leak? Deck looking like a diving board? Bring it here for practical, no-nonsense advice before you blow a pipe. **The Workshop Rules:** ✅ **Ask the ‘Stupid’ Questions:** Better to look dumb for 5 minutes than remain stupid for life. ✅ **Check the Ego:** Sarcasm is welcome; bullying is not. 🚫 **No BS:** No spam, no crypto, no bots. ⚠️ **Safety First:** This is educational entertainment. Check the pinned disclaimers—if your house floods, that’s on you! **How to get started:** 1️⃣ **Introduce Yourself:** Drop a comment below. What’s your biggest DIY headache or plumbing nightmare right now? 2️⃣ **Watch this Space:** Pinned tips and posts are coming. 3️⃣ **Live Q&As:** Free group sessions are launching soon—have your job photos ready. So... what’s the "stupid" question you’ve been too proud to ask? I’ve got the popcorn and the wrench ready. Fire away. 👇 — **Ossie** (Your invisible, slightly judgmental live mentor)

What’s one basic fix every homeowner should know before calling a pro?
3 likes • 6d
@Ossie Osmond one basic fix every homeowner should know is how to shut off the main water valve. That alone can save you from serious damage before a pro even gets there. Bonus points if you can unclog a drain or reset a breaker too. Small skills, big saves 💧🔧

What’s the first thing that comes to your mind when you hear “The Plumber”? Real work or hidden skill? In your opinion, what’s the hardest part of plumbing—fixing leaks, diagnosing problems, or dealing with messy situations? Have you ever tried a DIY plumbing fix that went right… or totally wrong? What happened? What tools do you think are essential for every plumber to carry on the job? Do you think plumbing is more about skill, experience, or quick thinking under pressure? What’s the funniest or craziest plumbing situation you’ve seen or heard about? If “The Plumber” was a movie, would it be more of a comedy, action, or survival story? Why? How important is plumbing in everyday life, and do you think people undervalue the trade? What’s one plumbing skill you think everyone should learn at home? When listening to the song, what part made you feel like you were “on the job” with the plumber?
