How many here repairs your own boards?There is not many shapers locally for me so I started learning how to shortly after we started surfing.small cracks and dings at first. Then I took on a learning project during Covid. Rott all over one fin falling off. I didn’t have glass rope to fix the fin so I improvised. It kind of worked. I took it for a test ride lol it floated but very heavy. Slapped a bunch of stickers on it and set in up as display art on my front porch. I learned a lot and mostly what not to do.😂

Just sitting down with Mark our videographer to plan out some of our surfing content for 2025. Would love some feedback to point us in the right direction: 1. What are some of things you would like to see us create or videos you would be stoked on? 2. Is there anything that we are CURRENTLY doing that you would change? 3. I with my wife currently reside in Washington State where we surf the Salis Sea Straits in the winter and the coast from Cape Flattery down to New Port OR aping to fall. Wife and I both started surfing in our early 40’s and now that we are 53 we are looking to move and retire early in Japan. We look forward to the short 30min or less trip to our break of choice. With slightly warmer waters in the winter. Trevor and the Degree33 crew have been with us from the start. We owe them a great thank you. I’m a long board cruiser that loves to just chill on the board. My next goal is getting shorter around a 7’ - 7’4” that I can still muster up the paddle power to catch a wave. The 8’2” Easy Rider was great in that aspect. However I’m looking at a foot shorter now. Other than that I’m looking forward to a wave a day well into my 70’s and beyond. Something special about surfing in the snow.
