Navy Federal Business low approval 🥴
I have been banking with navy federal on the business side for 6+ months and have carried a balance of $9k on the business checking. I applied for their business CC to get approved for $5k limit. It was near embarrassing while Chase Amex and Truist have all approved me from $15-20k limits. Is this something that Navy just does (low initial linits)?? I’ve been using the card at and paying it off in full to prepare to request a CLI soon. How long should I wait until I request the CLI? And should I go into a branch to request one?

@Julia Suarez I have Truist already. Did you open up checking accounts with Welles Fargo and Fifth Third before applying for credit cards with them?
Seeking a business LOC
My business is 2+ years old but not generating much revenue (~12k/yr). I have excellent personal credit and have $9k that I can season in checking accounts if needed. I've heard TD, Truist and PNC do low doc business lines of credit as long as you keep it under $50k. Can anyone share their experience with this? I don't want to have to fill out a 4506-C. (for reference, I have a Truist relationship with both personal and business so I was going to give them a try first..)

@Arthur Koster from what I’m learning it’s 50k being the cap before tax returns start to be required. That’s why my original post said 50k BLOC. Ideally would like to get a couple BLOCs at 50k. I already have business credit cards totalling about $75k.
