It was great to join the first session today. I really enjoyed hearing everyone's experiences and insights on career progression, which is a topic I'm particularly passionate about. It was also great to hear a little about what you all do and the roles you are currently in. I'm really looking forward to building strong connections within this community. Sometimes it feels like what's missing in our careers is that human touch, a supportive network where we can learn from one another, share experiences, and help each other grow. I may send some LinkedIn connection requests over the coming days, as it would be great to stay connected there as well. 😊

I’VE JUST COME OUT OF MY SECOND INTERVIEW AND I’VE GOT THE JOB?!?!?!?! 😭👏🏼 I am not even joking… I’m currently pacing, screaming, laughing, crying, all of it at once because WHATTTTT IS HAPPENING 😭 The director is coming to Liverpool on Tuesday to meet in person and finalise everything… but the role is mine.….MINE. I HAVE AN ACTUAL JOB!!!!!!!! FINALLY!!!!!! 😭👏🏼✨ I don’t even know how to put this into words properly because this isn’t just “I got a job”… this feels so much bigger than that. Every single question they asked me… I had real answers for. Not theory…… Not waffling on with myself….. Real experience that I could confidently talk about!!!! And that is ONLY because of what I do in this network. This space has given me the chance to actually do the work…. to build…. to support….. to organise….. to show up consistently…… to grow in confidence…. and I walked into those interviews feeling it.….. It felt natural…… It felt like me💥💃🏼❤️🙏✨ And that’s all happened because someone took a chance on me…… @Sue Black thank you for trusting me, backing me, and giving me the space to step into this properly. I will never, ever take that lightly or forget it 🙏✨❤️ And to every single incredible woman in this network… you’ve embraced me, supported me, hyped me, picked me up on the wobbly days….. and that is EXACTLY why I’ve just landed the most perfect role. i am seriously just… overjoyed…..shocked and just so freaking relieved!!!!! Proper, from-the-heart, can’t-stop-smiling kind of happy 😭❤️✨I needed this win, especially this week & I couldn’t wait to share my fab news with all you amazing people that have helped me get to this point…… I feel like you’ve all been on this journey with me & now you get to see my happily ever after moment ❤️✨💃🏼🙏💯
