A love letter from your future self
Good Friday! ๐ I hope you all have a wonderful end to the week. I thought Iโd share a short exercise that you may enjoy to support your โfeeling forwardโ into what you are creating. Exercise: "A Love Letter to Your Future Sellโ ๐ค๐ฅฐ๐ซถ Take 10 minutes to write a heartfelt letter to your future self, imagining youโre one year ahead in your journey. Focus on the growth, self-love, and achievements you envision for yourself. Be kind, supportive, and encouraging, like you would be to a dear friend. A few thoughts to guide you: 1. How do you feel in this future moment? (Ex. โIโm so proud of you forโฆโ) 2. What challenges have you overcome, and how did you handle them? 3. What habits, beliefs, or behaviours have you embraced that have transformed your life? 4. What are you most proud of about your growth and self-worth? 5. What words of love and encouragement do you want to remind yourself of today? Example starter: "Dear Future Me, Iโm so proud of the way youโve taken care of yourself this past year. Youโve learned to prioritise your own needs, set boundaries, and embrace the things that make you feel truly happy and fulfilled. Remember when you used to doubt your worth? Look at you now, confidently pursuing your goals and feeling more self-assured every day..." With love Helene
