Being located in the Washington, DC area, we have a highly transient population. Many of our members travel frequently for work, and numerous families leave the area for extended periods during the summer. In the past, we offered free membership freezes. However, we found that some members would place their accounts on indefinite freezes as a way to avoid fulfilling their contract obligations. A few years ago, we implemented a $30 freeze fee, which has significantly reduced abuse of the policy while still providing flexibility for members who genuinely need to pause their training. As a result, we've been able to retain a greater number of students and maintain more consistent membership levels. Fortunately freezes have been on the lower side so far.

Haha yes, I’m definitely going with kids, especially after hearing from you guys. We are also launching a Muay Thai program for kids. If you have any tips on marketing and breaking into the elementary through high schools, that would be awesome. Been getting road blocks with the staff of them. Someone told me donations help a lot.
