Make yourself busy to prep for the future
Before we start with this article, make sure you take this on board as it fits with your lifestyle and goals, I have found in Family, Martial arts, fitness and work a life unlock that helps me stay ahead of the constant challenges we face on a day to day basis, Try in one part of life to see if it helps you too, Force yourself to be busy, in preparation for when things you want to accomplish start to come, You want a child or more, before that happens remove watching your phone or binge watching a show add pressure to clean the house one extra day a week or have washing up to date, Before that promotion or 6 figure job comes along add extra work or more pressure to your current role, Before you decide to compete, have a kickboxing match, add the extra run, extra training session, While this sounds like a drag, not as fun and may even feel like your taking away free time, it’s actually building future time prioritisation and habits, Now when the time comes when your goals arrive you were already ready fatigue is less and look at that there is still time for your interests, We don’t need to be sleeping 10 hours or watching 3 hours of shows every day as an adult, “Now Sam where did you come up with this life math” answer living it with a solid Woman, we have 5 children at home who play two sports each, great jobs, running a Martial arts club and playing sports and enjoying gigs, It did not come to us magically, sacrifice of screen time, an hour or two of sleep, and getting faster at house work plus streamlining school drop offs, One shoe does not fit all and we are not perfect, but it does work, be it in multiple or single aspects of life, Bruce Lee - “Do not pray for an easy life. Pray for the strength to endure a difficult one
