My Journey: From UK Hotel Security to Madinah Through Remote Sales السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته My name is Salman, and I’m one of the coaches and mentors inside Setting for Hijrah. Not long ago, I was working security in London. The pay was decent, but the environment wasn’t where I wanted to build my life. I wanted to live in a Muslim country. I wanted to hear the adhān, pray in the masjid, study Arabic, be closer to Qur’an, and sit in the gatherings of knowledge. That was one of the biggest reasons I started looking for halal remote income . I joined Muslim Settify, went through the training, roleplayed, made Looms, applied to roles, networked, followed up, got rejected, and kept going. By the permission of Allah, remote sales became one of the means that helped me move to Madinah. Now I live in the Prophet’s city ﷺ, work remotely, and help other brothers improve their Looms, roleplays, applications, and sales skills so they can take the means too. The biggest lesson? Hijrah does not happen by wishing alone. Rely upon Allah then take the means. Train. Roleplay. Apply. Follow up. Keep going. If Allah puts barakah in one skill, it can open doors you never expected.
