When does effective AI use become unattractive AI slop?
When does effective AI use become unattractive AI slop? Peter Drucker wrote it decades before AI was even a headache: "Efficiency is doing things right. Effectiveness is doing the right things." But can we stay efficient and keep up as women in business without leveraging the efficiency AI can bring? 54%. That's how many UK small businesses are using AI now: more than double where we were three years ago. Impressive, right? Except only 12% of them have seen an extra pound in revenue because of it (DSIT, 2025). And the AI gender gap is still growing. Widest of all among the youngest women in business (JPMorgan Chase Institute, 2026). Somehow, it seems like the business world is sending us mixed messages: LinkedIn just launched a "seems like AI slop" button. Forty percent of long posts on this platform are fully AI-written (Pangram, 2026). Your own feed can flag you now. I call this AI masking: when AI writes so much of your content that even you can't spot what's actually you anymore. But using AI can be magical - it`s when we use it for the wrong reasons, or even worse, AI starts to use us, that things turn nasty. Think of it this way: most business owners are obsessed with what's under the bonnet: the automations, the workflows, the tools. What it might be better to focus on first, is looking at who's driving the vehicle, and how good their navigation skills are. You can own a Maserati and still stall it at the lights if you've never learned to drive the thing properly. I am loath to admit that I sometimes want AI to come and save me from drowning in busywork. But letting AI do the heavy lifting doesn't mean handing AI the pen (or the steering wheel - we’re not ready yet, Elon!). It means letting AI get s*** done in the background, so there's more of me left for the parts that actually need to be authentic. To that end I offer 2 free solutions, because while AI shouldn’t speak for us, I don’t think we should throw the baby out with the bathwater - there are still powerful ways we can use AI to make our businesses grow:

To end that we offer 2 free solutions, because while AI shouldn’t speak for us, I don’t think we should throw the baby out with the bathwater - there are still powerful ways we can use AI to make our businesses grow: 1. Try this tool for free - it saved me hours (and sometimes even my sanity): https://lnkd.in/g9bhNJNG 2. Reach out to [email protected] if you want to join our first cohort of women joining forces to powercharge their businesses with AI, coming this September - she`ll put you on the waiting list.
A few spots are left.
"The most dangerous phrase in the language is: 'We've always done it this way.'" – Rear Admiral Grace Using AI to adapt for positive business impact is why we're reaching out today. Tomorrow at midnight, our summer offer of £125 for the 1-2-1 AI Strategy Session goes back to £250. Small businesses using AI are 20 times more likely to see revenue rise than fall (QuickBooks, 2026). But the rewards only go to owners who have it set up properly around a real business. That's the session: 90 minutes, 1-2-1, taking the jobs that drain your week and handing them to AI, built live together. You keep everything we create, plus the Infinite Brain training, backed by a satisfaction guarantee. A few spots are left. Claim yours before midnight tomorrow and schedule it whenever suits you in 2026: https://vipintensiv-6ttrf62x.manus.space

20 AI Tools For Creating Realistic Videos
If you have been thinking about creating video content but the tech side makes you want to close your laptop and walk away, I get it. Video feels like one more thing on the never-ending list. But here is something to consider: AI video tools have come so far that you no longer need a film crew, fancy equipment, or hours of editing time to produce professional-looking content. I came across a brilliant breakdown by Yik Chan listing 20 AI tools specifically for creating realistic videos, and I wanted to share the highlights with you because some of these are genuinely game-changing for small business owners. For talking-head style videos and presentations: HeyGen, Synthesia, DeepBrain AI, Colossyan, and Elai all let you create realistic AI presenters. That means you can produce polished explainer videos, course content, or client-facing material without being on camera yourself every single time. For cinematic and high-quality footage: Google Veo, Luma, Moonvalley AI, Vidu AI, and ImagineArt Video are producing Hollywood-level visuals. If you want your brand to look premium, these are worth exploring. For quick social media content: PixVerse, Pika Labs, and Kaiber are built for speed. Fast rendering, creative output, and designed for the platforms where your audience already scrolls. For specialist needs: LTX Studio handles storyboards and camera angles. Kling AI delivers ultra-smooth motion. Stable Video Diffusion is open-source for those who like to tinker. PromeAI Video is brilliant for product and architecture visuals. Seadance (Dreamina) offers physics-level realism. Genmo focuses on storytelling. And Jestsy automates video creation for YouTube. You do not need all 20. You need the one or two that solve your specific problem right now. Which of these have you tried? Or which one are you curious about? Drop a comment and I will share what I know. Credit to Yik Chan for putting together such a comprehensive visual guide. #AITools #VideoCreation #SmallBusiness #ContentCreation #Aim2Grow
