Welcome in guys!!
Timeline is irrelevant if the hard work is there.
As artists we put large emphasis on time. Time it takes to finish projects. Time it takes to sell an original. Time it takes to hit a certain number of members, followers, or customers; and I have made what may be an impossible decision, I would like to take the consideration of time out of the equation. I'm doing this to prevent myself from possibly being discouraged if I don't meet certain time related goals. So my new metric for succeeding in my business goals, will not be how fast it takes to reach them, but how HARD I'm working to get there. As long as I know that I'm doing everything in my power to get to where I want to go, I'm happy. It will take the time that it needs.

Amen! I absolutely love that philosophy!
Seems like being an artist is more screen time than creating time ๐ŸŽจ
It's now 9:30 EST and I have not yet painted, drawn, or designed anything... I suppose if you count content creation (filming + editing) you might say I was being creative; I however just feel like my eyes are going to fall out from looking at a screen all day, and like I wasted a ton of time. But I didn't!! I got a lot of things done on my laptop that I've been meaning to do! Why does it feel unproductive? Can anyone else relate?

Gosh I can relate. ๐Ÿ˜ญ I have this almost innate guilt if I sit too long that I have wasted time. I think this stems from family peer pressure.

@Rรญa Suri Studio Itโ€™s terrible! The guilt is so real! Iโ€™m sorry that you feel this way too. ๐Ÿฅฒ
hello fellow creatives!!
I have a question, I feel like every artist has a major and a minor (or many minors haha). For example I'd say that my Art major is painting and my Art minor is fashion. What are yours??

@Rรญa Suri Studio I would say it's one of the big ones! I have been pursuing any form of visual storytelling with my characters that I can!
What made you be an artist?
I was always always TERRIBLE at school... and I was constantly drawing in the corner of my classes. ๐Ÿ˜… Being a immigrant kid to Korean parents, college was non negotiable even though my grades were all over the place. So! I went to the state college with a degree in art. I always felt more accepted in creative / artist communities and always felt out of place with people who were more linear. So one part: I didn't have a choice Second part: I prefer artistic people and groups :) How about you?
