Renewing our faith daily
The Shahadah is not just the first pillar of Islam, it is a daily reminder of who we belong to and how we should live. Every prayer, every act of kindness, every sacrifice, and every moment of patience should flow from this testimony. When we truly understand the Shahadah, it transforms our perspective. Success is no longer measured by wealth or status, but by our closeness to Allah and our obedience to Him. 💚💚💚

WEEK 2: ATTITUDE: BEHAVIOURAL PATTERNS
Last week we asked: Who Are You? This week we go deeper into one half of the answer, Your Behavioural Patterns. Attitude isn't a mood. It's built from two things, and this week is about the first: What you actually do, on repeat, without thinking about it. Here's the honest part. Most of us think our behaviour reflects our values. Often it just reflects our habits. Habits form long before we ever examine them. What you repeat becomes who You are. Not what you intend. Not what you post. What you repeat. This is where self-assessment gets uncomfortable because behavioural patterns are visible to everyone around us, even when they're invisible to us. This week: pick one behaviour you do on autopilot. Ask where it came from. Drop it below — we're building this together. Share the Skool link with a friend to continue to build as a collective body

Yes, I believe so. I took it to mean that we should consciously evaluate our intentions and actions against the Qur'an as our baseline. Is that the direction you were aiming for?
Introducing Myself - Ziad Hafda
Assalamu alaykum everyone 👋 I'll go first. My name is Ziad Hafda. I'm the founder of The Muslim Mind Academy and I'm based in Sydney, Australia. I've spent over 22 years seeking Islamic knowledge, teaching students, mentoring, leading community programs and asking one question that wouldn't leave me: Why do so many Muslims know the Kalimah but so few are actually living from it based on its true intended purpose sent by Allah... That question became this community. I'm a Vice-President and Chair of Education at the Australian Islamic House in Sydney. I'm also writing a book — The Muslim Mind: Reviving the Ummah through the Kalimah — which is the foundation of everything we teach here. I built this community for Muslims who are done drifting and ready to think, lead and live with Divine direction. Your turn 👇 Tell us who you are, where you're from, and answer this one question honestly: What is the biggest gap you feel between your Islam and your daily life right now? No judgment. This is your space. May Allah bless your path Ziad

Week 1 - Self Assessment - WHO ARE YOU?
Life starts with knowing Allah. Before we can move forward, build, lead, decide. We have to stop and ask ourselves something honest: Who are you, really? Not your job title. Not what people expect from you. Who are you when no one's watching? This is where The Behavioural Compass™ begins — a 6-week framework we're walking through together, one piece a week, starting with Self-Assessment. Every decision we make is shaped by our Attitude. Attitude isn't a mood, it's built from two things: our Behavioural Patterns (what we do) and our Thinking Patterns (how we process). Most of us have never separated the two. We just call it "how I am." Here's what we believe: the Ummah doesn't lack capability. We lack the pause(quick pit stop). The moment of honest self-assessment before decision-making can commence. This week, before you build anything else "pause". Ask: Who are you? Not to judge yourself. To know yourself, so Allah's guidance actually has somewhere to land. Drop below: when you ask yourself that question honestly, what's the first word that comes up? We'll build on this next week.

Definitely makes sense and resonates. One thing I've learned tho is when I go in that mode (the lazy mode) I just say A'oothoo billa hi mina shaytaani rajeem and I can tell you the moment I do that, I get up and do what I had in my mindset. Patience is key. Me being referred to this community was no co-incidence, this was Allahs Hidayah and direction Alhamdulillah

"The Behavioural Compass"
Quick question before you scroll past this: Who are You? Not your job. Not your role in this community. Not the version of you that shows up when people are watching. Who are you when no one is watching or around You? Most of us never actually answer that. We assume we know ourselves, and we build every decision, career, relationships, deen, direction, on top of that assumption. Then we wonder why the same struggles keep resurfacing. Here's what I've learned across 25 years of leading education programmes, chairing community governance, and running humanitarian projects across the Muslim world. The leaders who actually change something always start in the same place. Not with a plan. With an honest look in the mirror. I built this out into a framework I call The Behavioural Compass™. It starts with Self-Assessment, genuinely asking who you are. That splits into two things most people never separate: your Behavioural Patterns (what you actually do, on repeat) and your Thinking Patterns (how you actually reason, underneath the doing). From there, every sound decision runs through How, Why, and When — before it ever reaches a defined Objective. Only then can decision-making actually commence. This isn't a religious reminder to "be better." It's a leadership framework, the same discipline I'd bring to any strategic model — except this one is anchored in the Kalimah, because Allah already gave us the architecture for how to think clearly before we act. We just don't always treat it like one. Here's the question I want this thread to answer, honestly: which piece of this are you skipping? Not in general, think of one real decision you're sitting on right now. Run it through the framework. Where does it fall apart? Tell me which piece, and why. I'll respond to every single one.

Who am I? Well for all the years I know that im an Overthinker, I procrastinate, I don't know how or when to say no to people. I am very indecisive most of the times. So in a nutshell that is who I am but I do have faith that this journey will not be in vain cos I am here to work on many inner traits when it comes to myself insha'Allah Ameen.

@Ziad Hafda Yes Alhamdulillah and with me being able to understand MY truth comes with learning the 99 names of Allah. Al-Haqq - That name of Allah reminds me to always be truthful and speak the truth.
