Hi Folks! I have been away for a while. Was swamped up with my academic research activities. I would be delighted to hear people's insights. Anyone from academic and business can better relate to that.

@Vanessza Ellen thanks you for question. It depends on their commitment level I scale the barometer accordingly. For instance, it can range from being a 'highly pursuant' to being ' dismissive', 'hot and cold', 'friend/sisterhood zone'. I am keen to hear your views.

@Vanessza Ellen I personally believe there is no significant difference in guys approaching you, regardless of whether they use dating apps or not. Needless to say, there are pros and cons to using online apps. Pros- finding soulmate or similar people faster, in a busy chaotic world and this is the most obvious one. πŸ™„ Ofcourse, there are lots of cons like, superficial and physical attractiveness steer you to like people more. Especially, when it comes down to personality traits, there is occasionally a huge difference in gauging those traits when meeting in person versus what's written on paper/bio or being communicated through texts or calls. However, guys with truly genuine intentions who are willing to grow in a longterm committed relation, will pursue you, regardless of what channel or medium they use to get to you. They will generally show signs of reciprocation, affection, consistency, selflessness, humility and emotional intelligence to set the bar where it needs to be in a mature connection.
Differences in Men VS Women in life partner's selection
Hi all, I'd really love hearing from ya' all on what are some of the major differences in decision making between men and women- from the time to when they are first dating to the time whej they are in a fully committed relationship but haven'tyet moved forward with a marriage? How men select their life partners, what are their criteria when chosing ' the one'? I'd also like to hear female prospective on what are some of their pressing questions that are / should be answered to tick all their boxes?

@Toby Brauer what a great hierarchical framework you have laid out for everyone. Each and every areana from personal through social and professional growth reflects the stages to level up with an emotional intelligence. It gives more clarity and life-long recipe to work on ourselves as we embrace on true identity. It's unfortunate that many of us often face millennial imposter syndrome and stay stuck in our childhood or even teenage traumas, regardless of our sky-rocketing success in professional life. My question is, how do you train your brain to only repress long-term episodic memories which often lead to detrimental life choices? I came across people who have a successful professional life but they keep on letting their past affect their future decision -making and readily affected by other's opinion. Sadly, these are often people in their late 30s.

@Toby Brauer Thanks for your generous insights too. How do master such realms and unveil our security blanket. How is this bootcamp different from other rehab therapies?

@Benedict Marchand there are tonnes of literature, articles endorsed by leading relationship psychologist. H To name a few renowned psycholgists; Ester Perl, Jordan Peterson are among the compelling ones of all times. They present facts with logics not just a personal prospective. Hope it's resourceful:)

@Vanessza Ellen first off, great to hear from you. Yes, I absolutly agree with your contradictory argument. It's the context of when and howoften a person is exposed to such taboo content. I was also going to add in the opposite benefits of spicing things up in a marriage, but that's a different argument My views were projected toward the direction of unhealthy practices outside or within a longterm relationship. Speaking from a clinical prospective, in the aforestated conditions like dysperunia and vaginismus, or even delayed ejaculations etc. moderation in foreplay activities are generally recommended by NHS and other globally ranked clinicians who struggle with difficult and otherwise painful intercourse. I was mostly highlighting the devastating impact on excessive porn addiction that consumes a person. Collectively, setting healthy boundaries and having an open dialogue between couples is a best way to proceed with certain desires and fantasies. It's a complex paradoxical argument and as the saying goes 'Excess of everything is bad". Hope that makes sense and gives you more clarity.
