One of you skaters over 30…
If, like me, you’ve come back to skating after time away, I have a simple question: why? Are you skating to progress? To preserve? Or to feel like yourself again? And if so, has this changed how you ride? For me, I’m no longer particularly interested in tricks so I’ve leaned more towards surfskating so I can just to enjoy a cruise and a carve. How about you?

Im not 30 for another 2 months but the reas9n is have just taken it back up is 1- I dont have much of a physical job and I need to get back in shape. 2- im quickly getting older 😂 3- it is helping me with my mental health and allowing me to focus on something! And finally I love the social side of things always good to meet new people whilst skating!

Why do all these council skateparks seem to have one quarter pipe that points at sweet FA?

an old town i lived in years ago have a council skate park and damn was it dangerous great variety but hate skating metal ramps, it had tarmac floor which was all chipped a fun box in the middle that youd go up and over and the edges would snag your wheels 😂 how im still alve is beyond me haha

Skate vids! Go Go go..
Hello all! Anyone got some skate vid recommendations? Preferably more tech styled. Anything flippy manuals, flippy grinds etc. That's my go to. Im out of the loop with a lot of skate lore having just started again after 20 years. Im still watching some of my favourites from that era but would like to see more of the new age. To get an idea, some of my all time faves are Deawon Song, Rodney Mullen, Jerry Hsu, Tom Penny, Peter Smolik to name a few. Please note: Please NO CHRIS JOSLIN! After his El Torro escapade recently, I have overwatched too much of him 😅 Thanks all! 🤘
