Our First Version Busted!
A kid of one of the members at our gym missed the basketball hoop and busted the whiteboard holder I designed and 3D Printed 😭 But the upgraded version is 10x better! I used stronger, grippy magnets which are removable. I beveled the edges. I made the walls thicker. I used PTEG instead of PLA filament. Stoked to see how this one performs. What are you working on this weekend?

Nice, love the iterate and test!!
Is it possible to have "too many" tools?
I thought so....until I found this very helpful print!

On Makerworld from Bambu Lab you can find just about anything for your drawer setup. If you don't find organizers for your specific storage solution, check out the Gridfinity series. You can add these organizer trays to just about anything and with the Gridfinity system, people have made storage solutions for just about every tool or product that I can think of. I've yet to find a need to make a Gridfinity organizer for something I own that somebody didn't already make for me.
This one was tricky!
I've been printing so many things to help me with woodworking. It's been awesome! Except I had a bunch of little tiny pieces I couldn't store anywhere. So I decided to fix that... How did your weekend projects go?

@Daniel Sloan yes but I have a 3D artist background so I'm familiar with Blender and some other 3D tools. On Maker World you can download the CAD file sometimes instead of the 3DM file, I believe it is, and open it in one of those other 3D packages and make edits to them. Some designs are more editable than others but you can make revisions to them. I had a servo kit where the holes were too big and the heat set inserts weren't fitting properly. I downloaded the CAD model, shrunk the holes, and reprinted it as just a quick example. You can also check out TinkerCAD. It's a free 3D modeling package. I've heard it's better than SketchUp from a 3D modeling perspective. You might like it. It's pretty intuitive and easy to pick up.

@Daniel Sloan I think you'll find a one to two hour YouTube tutorial will get you everything you need for Tinkercad. It's pretty simple, intuitive, and if you're already familiar with Sketchup, you'll pick up Tinkercad in no time.
It's never as clean cut as our videos show 🤣
We had some fun fixing our clients sink. A little too much fun!

As someone who films content with his kid and has quite a few bloopers... I need to get better at showing them on these videos, because this is hilarious. Thank you for the laugh while drinking my morning coffee and I feel your pain 🤣

@Daniel Sloan that's my favorite part about running our channel: the little hidden gems that I find later on because I'm so busy concentrating on the thing we're doing at the time.
We hope you have an awesome weekend!
We just finished up this fun project on our 3D printer. Not as fancy as what @Ryan Morency makes but we'll take it! 🤣

haha we all start somewhere1 This is still pretty cool and I've made plenty of non-fancy prints to get myself prepared to make an entire Iron Man suit so you're on your way now.
