Testing Coral Fantasy
We’re headed bowling with my in-laws tonight and I plan to wear some of my Valentino Born In Roma Coral Fantasy sample to continue testing it on myself. It will be the third wear; hoping that it will be the best yet. On first wear I actually got a headache despite truly loving the opening. Second chance saved it for me as I loved catching it on the breeze as I ran errands. I’m looking forward to see how it comes across in a more social setting. Will likely report back!

The good: The scent performed well. It felt appropriate and I enjoyed it. I still really love the Apple and Tobacco combo, and I got more of the Cardamom this time than I had before. The bad: My wife is not a fan. She said I smelled like potpourri and unfortunately I couldn’t un-smell that once she said it. I don’t mind that really as ultimately I do enjoy the fragrance, but it sounds like this won’t be a buy, as I can’t think of when I’d wear it at this time. If you or your partner like these bold aromatic notes, I recommend it. It’s just likely not for me.

Least Favorite Fragrance in your collection
Just curious, I know none of us want to think we made a bad purchase…..What are some of your LEAST favorite scent in your collections? It could be something bought as a blind buy or something you liked in the store but disliked once you got it home and now just takes a spot never to be worn again or maybe your tastes have changed? I have 3 in my collection all blind buys cheapies Lattafa Brioche Vanille Raghba Wood Intense Maison Alhambra lovely Cherie

My collection is only 3 (4th in the mail), but so far I enjoy Versace Dylan Blue the least. It’s far from bad and I don’t dislike it at all, but it doesn’t move me the way the other fragrances I wear have. There is something about Explorer, Light Blue eau intense, and Polo 67 EDT, that really speak to me. I can’t say the same for Dylan Blue no matter how reliable it may be.

@Tim Nicklis I will definitely keep using it, it’s my main office fragrance. I appreciate it for what it is and I’m ok knowing it’s a great scent that isn’t one of my absolute favorites.

New Summer Pick Up
Finally got my hands on this beauty. Loved it from the first sniff. Of all the TDHs this one was my favourite. Metallic, fresh, zingy and everlasting. Got it for a steal at r/UKFragranceSwap. Got a few more coming that i picked up.
