Quick Poll: When Does a Subscription Feel “Too Cheap” to Be Good?
Hey everyone! I’m curious to hear your thoughts on pricing psychology, especially when it comes to subscriptions. At what monthly price point do you start to assume a product might not be high quality because it’s priced too low? For example, if you saw a subscription for $2/month—does your brain go: “Great deal!”or “This is probably junk”? And where’s that sweet spot where you think “This is affordable and it must be good”? Also, feel free to send our link out to any founders in any industry. All are welcome. This community could be super useful to startups.

I think it largely depends on the product, product offerings, and competitor pricing. $2/month for a B2B solution might cause me to question it, while $2/month for personal data storage on Google or an online newspaper subscription seem reasonable.
