HIT is the only way I train and people at my gym think I’m on PEDs. Natural all the way, and; if you’re a natural at resistance training, HIT is the most efficient and effective way to exercise. I currently perform one set to failure as best I can then I perform one set of 20 reps at a faster tempo, but not all the time. That one set to failure is just too taxing for the 20 rep set at times to execute another set. Been following Mr. Reinhardt for years as also Jay Vincent, Drew Baye and the late Doug Brignole, RIP, a master at biomechanics to enhance exercise selection and applying proper physics to resistance training.
