Hi everyone, I’m excited to introduce pentathlete.com, a new website featuring USAPM co-branded casual wear, along with a brief background of myself and my company Débrouillard. Pentathlete.com is undergoing a soft launch, by that meaning public but not widely marketed, to correct any issues that might emerge with initial interaction. This is the first ever website for USAPM and pentathlete specific apparel & accessories, so it’s exciting to be a part of. Because this is a pioneering venture, the launch collection represents a simple, middle road approach and we’ll introduce more products as we get a sense of what the demand looks like. Additionally, the website launched with only 4 athlete photos, which were authorized from the USAPM site, to get a sense on if athletes would like addition inclusion. There’s A LOT of ways to add USAPM athlete visibility and it’d be great to do that. Also, if an athlete doesn’t want their photo on there, let me know and I can change it out no problem. Beyond merchandise, there’s also section titled The Pentathlete Journal to touch on various points of pentathlon history, culture, perspectives, etc… that I hope will be intriguing. Feel free to offer any feedback here or via email:

[email protected] I could go on for literal hours to describe Débrouillard but here is the easiest background to learn: https://debrouillard.com/pages/our-story Also a Coubertin specific site I created: https://www.debrouillard.org/ As a little personal note, my family and I live in Austin, TX and visit San Francisco almost monthly. Débrouillard is a term that inspired me while trading in the high attrition Chicago trading pits over 20 years ago and I still find it fascinating in every way. After attending the Paris 2024 modern pentathlon event in Versailles, I reached out to USAPM to develop a sponsorship role for Débrouillard and pentathlete.com is a realization of that. It’s a very exciting future ahead and I’m determined to be a positive force for the USAPM community.
