Basic Balloon Stack Course Going Up Tomorrow!
4th of July šŸ‡ŗšŸ‡ø
I’m hosting tons of parties this summer and my next one is 4th of July! It’s pool/outside/bbq style. Any tips on small and easy to set up morning of balloons?

Woohooo! Hopefully your question helps some other folks as well! My favorite, quick 4th of July option is an simple Red, White, and Blue Garland. If you take a look at the Basic Balloon Garland training under the "Classroom" tab, you can watch the details in creating a "Cluster". You would create 2 clusters of each color and tie them together either by taking some of the extra "neck" of the balloons (the area that you insert air and tie) and tie the necks from one cluster to the next together (this is an advanced method), or you can make a tie using a 260 balloon (also covered in the tutorial) and use that to assemble your clusters together. Next you can find some fun starburst balloons into the garland for some extra pizzaz! Foils are really where you get to have fun with your creation, and add your own personality and creativity! I am adding mockups below of what this would look like with and without starbursts- and I'll post tutorials of my recommended at-home 4th of July setups soon!
Butter Theme Party
I’m having a 1st birthday for a boy and the theme is butter! Do you have any ideas for a simple affordable balloon decor?

🤩 That's such a fun theme and honestly I see that trending in the future, so you're leading the trend! My favorite way to incorporate balloons at a kids party is: 1. If you are using a canopy, simple balloon columns wrapped around each leg can make a big difference visually- this one is a little more time consuming. 2. Simple balloon backdrop! This is a favorite- Butter is good because it is an easy rectangle shape- so a quick foam backdrop (Home Depot pink foam board 1/2" thick in the insulation section)- cut that down to whatever size you want with an exacto knife (for your purposes I'd cut down to 5.5 X 3.5). Then you paint it with regular house paint (I'd do white for this) and then you can add cute butter print or you can paint it on yourself directly on the board. Then you would just make an organic garland (I'll be posting a course for this soon for you) and place that on the side of your board- WALA! 3. Balloon stacks are always personal and fun- it is so simple but it does require a balloon sizer where organic arches don't. I'll post a tutorial for this as well! Balloons- If it's an indoor party look on Amazon for the brand: PartyWoo, that is the closest you are going to get to a professional balloon for cheap and some professionals do use them! They also come with every size you need in one pack and they have SO many colors (I would look for a light yellow). If it's an outdoor party you will need to use a professional balloon to keep grass and weather from affecting your balloons. The best outdoor balloon (in my experience) is Tuftex and the color Lemonade would be PERFECT. I will post some courses soon that you can reference to help put this into action!

@Casey Montez Fantastic!
Insight of the Day
For DIY parties (especially for kids parties) 4x8 1/2" insulation board from Home Depot is your BEST FRIEND! It can be cut down with a wallpaper or exacto knife, painted with regular wall paint, and is lightweight and easy to work with. This is your go-to for homemade character cutouts and backdrops! The best news is they are less than $20 each and with a fresh coat of paint (or none if your event uses the same color) the same board can be used over and over again for multiple events. The below images are all using the same main board, just a fresh coat of paint in between- and see how the pink skyscraper board became a butter board for the next event. Drop your questions in the thread!
