Ryan Batchelor - living in St Louis, MO area as a military officer (full-time) and leadership consultant (part-time). As a consultant, I help individuals with personal growth and companies with organizational health through my certifications with John Maxwell and Patrick Lencioni. I love to climb mountains and have currently climbed 27 mountains above 14,000 feet. Pic is from climbing in Colorado last July. My goal is to get 60 mountains above 14K feet by age 60. I have one wife and nine kids, and one precious granddaughter.
Holiday Crazy
We can get really caught up with all the things of the season. Be sure to take time to enjoy it before it is gone. listen to the music, cook the cookies, call your friends. This season is still about giving, but also to yourself. This season will also fill your soul if you let it. What are you doing to fill yourself during this time of the year?

Focus on refining the items that will truly matter in 2026. In 2025, I was scattered on my business tactics - distracted by every shiny object. This was because there was also chaos in my family life and that chaos was spilling over everywhere. I did the work to define my values over break and anything by that doesn’t line up with those is out the window in 2026!
Leadership in 2026 Starts Within
As I look ahead to 2026, I’m thinking less about titles, roles, or accomplishments and more about leadership at its core. Not the kind of leadership that comes from position or pressure, but the kind that starts internally. The leaders who thrive in the years ahead won’t be the loudest or the busiest. They’ll be the ones who know how to regulate their emotions, think clearly under pressure, set boundaries, stay consistent, and lead themselves before trying to lead anyone else. True leadership is built through daily choices. How you respond instead of react. How you manage your energy. How you follow through when motivation fades. How you take responsibility for your growth rather than waiting for external change. If 2026 is going to be different, it won’t be because circumstances magically improve. It will be because you improve your inner framework, your mindset, your habits, and your self-care systems. That’s the work I do. I help individuals and leaders strengthen the skills that actually sustain success, clarity, and resilience over time. If you’re ready to intentionally grow into the version of yourself that can handle what you’re building, I’d love to support you. My group coaching is designed for people who want real tools, accountability, and meaningful change, not surface-level motivation. Let’s make 2026 a year of grounded leadership, starting with you.https://calendly.com/thrivingbynaturecoaching/growth-mindset-group
