Hello friends, I hope you've had a great week. I have a nice project planned for the weekend. In my kitchen I have very dull lazy Susan in a dark corner and it's just crying out for a bit of colour. I was looking at some lovely Matisse inspired shapes, and patterns. I think I'll have a go at a bright folk pattern with birds or fish and lots of bright colours. Here's some of my inspiration and a photo of the offending article. I'll show and tell later. Have you got something colourful you've just upgraded? I just watched a Youtube video from House and Garden, where the owner of a beautiful boutique hotel gave her job title as "Creative Director". This really resonated with me, as I see myself as the creative director in my own home - I design the colour schemes, special finishes and furnishings.
