My focus is very practical: handling missed calls when owners are busy or closed, filtering genuine enquiries, taking clear messages, and setting the expectation of a callback, rather than trying to book appointments automatically. What I’m testing is whether this simpler, human-sounding setup is what most one-man bands actually want — especially those who don’t use or want online booking systems and just need calls handled properly so work doesn’t slip away.
