30+ Insane Animation Styles For Seedance 2.5 (or any ai video)
👋 Hi everyone! Just want to apologise for the radio silence from me the past week, I've been very busy with these videos and have been looking after my sick 5 month old daughter so It's been a handful 😅. I have compiled some really awesome animation styles in this latest video, I mostly used Seedance 2.5 but more recently I have been testing out the new Minimax H3 , H3 MAX and H3 MAX TURBO models and they are looking great for animations. The great thing about the MAX models in particular is they are really cheap and incredibly fast, so I would recommend trying them out. Also a huge thanks for your animation style recommendations from my last post! I managed to include some in this video 😁. I'll be looking at doing a 'Volume 2' of this animation series, so if anyone has any more creative animation styles they would like to share then please do so, I really appreciate it. 👉 I've also created a animation styles prompt document which includes all the animation styles if you want to try them out. Thanks! 🤩 📘 💡 Prompt document: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1V3En-pWsczDDycTYqjwSJc3c88gANlB7/edit?usp=sharing&ouid=109448758079468035019&rtpof=true&sd=true https://youtu.be/RbAwwMte270

It looks beautiful! I love the variety of styles. Great video I really enjoyed it!
Action Scene Breakdown — From Clay Previs to Final
I created the entire action sequence first as a 3D previs using a Clay Render — focusing purely on choreography, camera movement, timing, composition, and scene continuity. No textures. No polished lighting. No distractions. Just the core mechanics of the scene. For action sequences, I find this approach especially useful: if the scene already feels cinematic in a simple clay render, the final visuals only make it stronger. Previs → Clay Render → Final Visual Sedance 2.0.

Thank you! 🙌 Really glad you liked it. I can definitely see the Big Daddy vibe now that you mention it 😄

I Spent $200 Trying to Create One AI Shot in Sedance 2.5
Sedance 2.5 1080p I tried to create one proper cinematic shot using AI — and in the end, nothing really worked out 😅 I went through tons of generations, different settings, references, and approaches. I even used a Clay Render to give the AI a more accurate understanding of the scene geometry, composition, and camera movement. In the end, I’ve already spent around $200 experimenting, and I still haven’t managed to get the shot I actually wanted. I used the prompt from the attached TXT file together with 4 key visual frames as references for the generation. I ran a lot of tests and iterations, trying different approaches, settings, and workflows. After all that experimentation, I still consider the final result very disappointing and far below my expectations, especially considering the amount of time and money spent.

@Jack Bayliss I used 3D to create it, but I also have experience with AI generation. The core idea remains the same either way the generation is still based on a clay render, and using 3D simply gives you more precise control and a more accurate result. Yes, there were a lot of generations, I also make them from low res first.

@Chris Murray Yes, it can be useful, high speed is a problem for high-quality processing.
Recreating an Iconic VFX Shot
This iconic action scene turned out to be incredibly difficult to recreate — even when you have the original sequence right in front of you as a reference. At first, it seems simple: the shots already exist, the camera movement is there, the timing is known. You just need to repeat it. In reality, it’s the opposite. A very interesting experiment — and definitely one of the more challenging scenes I’ve tried to reimagine with AI.

Seedance 2.0 Cinematic 1080p
I created this video using Seedance 2.0, The goal was to test how far I could push AI video while keeping a strong cinematic language — controlled camera movement, composition, atmosphere, lighting, and consistency between shots. Most of the work was about experimenting with prompts, reference frames, camera behavior, and multiple generations until the shots started to feel like parts of the same film. Created with Seedance 2.0. Would be interesting to hear what you think about the result.

Thanks! For me, it’s less about telling one specific story and more about exploring how far AI can be pushed as a filmmaking tool. Right now I’m mostly focused on short stories and short cinematic pieces. I like projects that I can actually finish relatively quickly, without burning out or spending a huge amount of money on a single idea. It also lets me experiment more — finish one idea, learn from it, and move on to the next.
