Today is FOMC day. Gold gave me two textbook setups, one during London, one during New York. Both played out exactly as expected. See the short video below. ⬇️ I didn't take either one. I don't trade around major news events. Liquidity builds up before the release, then a huge volume of orders hits the market at once. Your analysis can be completely correct, and you still get stopped out before the real move even starts.
