Heyyyy, we’ve got tons of DMs this past week on when we’re going to host our next LIVE call. We're 1 day out from the official start of q4, so I thought I'd share this personal story. I was going through last year's photo album and re-reading my past journal entries, and wanted to express the experience I'm about to describe. It was one of my lowest moments but I think it's important to show the lows, not just the highs. It was the final day before Q4. September 30th, 2024. It was one of those nights. I tried to sleep. But the harder I tried, the louder my thoughts became. My room was still, but inside my mind was a raging storm. My heart felt heavy. My mind was racing. Ideas kept flooding in, one after another. A new brand I wanted to pitch. A hook I wanted to test. A better line I could write. A new style of video I could shoot tomorrow. I stared into the darkness and realized I wasn’t tired. I was awake in every sense possible. Something was coming. And I felt the pressure. A "healthy" kind of pressure. And for me, it was the pressure of living a life of failure. A life of regret. A life of unfulfilled potential. I’ve lived enough to know the weight of being stuck. The mornings where I would wake up with heaviness pressing against my ribs. The mornings where I’'d get stuck in traffic driving to a 9-5 I dread, blasting music to numb my mind, as I'd put my 'fake face' on to a boss I dreaded working for. I know the sick feeling of checking my bank account and sighing in disappointment, worrying about how I’m going to pay next weeks bills. I had put myself in this position. I chose this life. I could have easily chosen to do what everyone else did. Go to college, live with my parents, and poach from their allowance, living a very comfortable life. But I made the commitment to myself and I chose not to pursue the traditional path at the age of 18, moved out, and chose to pursue independence. I wanted a taste of the real world. I wanted a life of freedom and was willing to sacrifice for it. And for the first year? It definitely didn't go as planned.
