Hi! My name is Rowan, I’m 34 years old and I’m from Amsterdam, the Netherlands. I’m a certified Vinoloog, which is roughly comparable to a level just below WSET Level 4. I’m currently studying for Magister Vini, the highest Dutch wine qualification, which is based on the Master of Wine program. Alongside my studies I work as a freelance sommelier and wine educator, leading wine tastings, masterclasses and wine courses for both enthusiasts and professionals. Biggest study challenge: Volume, the source material is effectively unlimited so I keep reading past the point of usefulness. And writing essays under time pressure is hard for me.
