Hi Alice, I teach Crochet Art every Saturday in a North Yorkshire town. I am new to Skool, but so far I am loving building my community. My niche involves those who struggle with getting started, and with beginners especially young children. I have taught crochet in the classroom and I love connecting with teachers who crochet. I have been using a latch hook to teach freeform crochet for over 10 years which I know is totally untraditional but kids love it and it works. Think of it as a modern take on crochet. Although I am an experienced crochet artist, I teach creative crochet and I don’t have the skills to teach lots of different stitches, I am not good at keeping to a pattern or reading complicated patterns because I tend to make things up as I go. I did use to make some very unique chunky jumpers for my husband, which compensated for him putting up with my constant obsession to teach crochet! Happy to be here among so many talented crocheters.
