I am in Fort Lauderdale, Fl (EDT). Although I missed the last 2 sessions due to pre arranged appointments the 2-3:30pm works for me.
Biggest Challenges
Hello, sorry I missed today's session. I hope to review and practice your recording this evening. But I do want to respond to your question about watercolor. My biggest challenges when using watercolor is knowing how much water, when to mix colors, how to brighten colors. When I mix I see colors become dull and grayish. If I lighten w/more water it results in water stains/lines on the canvas. B/c I feel you have to work quickly w/watercolor media, I tend to only use one round brush only. Should I change brushes for detail?
A little background ...
I am based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. I began my desire to create art during the Covid era in January 2020. My first media was w/soft pastels and it all began w/a mango. I took some online courses, including those offered by Ms.Julie Ford. I am truly excited to learn more about art media with Julie and this group. Thank you for having me.
