The 5-Second Test: What Does Your Homepage Say? 👀
Here's a simple test every Shopify store owner should try. Open your homepage and look at it as if you're a first-time visitor. Give yourself just 5 seconds, then look away. Can you immediately answer these three questions? 1️⃣ What does this store sell? Your products or niche should be easy to identify without searching through multiple sections. 2️⃣ Why should I care? Your headline should communicate a clear benefit, not just a generic welcome message. 3️⃣ What should I do next? Make the next step obvious, whether it's exploring a collection, viewing a product, or shopping now. If visitors struggle to answer these questions, your homepage may need more clarity—not more design elements. Remember, the goal isn't to impress visitors with how much you've added to your website. It's to help them understand your offer and navigate confidently. Try the 5-second test on your store today. If you could change just one thing about your homepage, what would it be? 👇

What Makes You Actually Trust a Dropshipping Supplier?
One thing I’ve been thinking about with dropshipping is how much of the business can depend on the supplier you choose. It's easy to look at the obvious things: - Price - Shipping times - Product selection - Reviews But I think the real test comes when something goes wrong. - How quickly do they respond? - What happens when an order is delayed? - Will they help when a customer receives the wrong item? - Are they consistent once your order volume starts increasing?' A supplier can look amazing when you're testing a few products and become a completely different experience once you're processing regular orders. For those who've been dropshipping for a while, what is one red flag you now look for immediately when evaluating a supplier? And what's one thing that made you realize, “Yep, this is a supplier I can actually work with long term”?
